More metal work in the stone. Its purpose isn't clear

Taken 10-06-25 recording removal of stone masonry within bell tower walling exposing vertical restraint metalwork straps, including cranked ends embedded within masonry walling. Condition of straps based upon extent of present exposure seem reasonably good with surface corrosion and delaminating evident.(3/3)
